Mr. Berg’s corporate experience includes a 28-year career with Canada’s largest employer, Loblaw Companies.
As the Vice President of Operations in Western Canada, he was responsible for a business unit representing $1.5 billion in annual revenue and over 8500 employees.
He was also instrumental in the creation, development, and direction of several corporate initiatives which began as new business concepts and eventually secured a dominant position in their competitive arena.
His experience in the fertilizer industry includes the role of Chairman and Director of Potash One (TSX:KCL). Over a 5-year period he actively contributed to its successful development from an early stage exploration company to the completion of its feasibility study with a stated NPV of over 4 Billion dollars.
He was closely involved in the friendly acquisition of Potash One by K+S Group of Germany for $4.50 per share in a $434 million cash transaction. After this, K+S Group committed $3.25 billion for the development of the Legacy potash project acquired in the takeover.
He is currently the advisor, founder, and director of numerous publicly traded companies.
Mr. Watters is, and has been a Director of several Public Companies including C.P.C’s and I.P.O.’s. Mr. Watters is a co-founder of several successful Mining enterprises. He has been an integral part of raising nearly $260 million for start-up and development opportunities in his career and has been part of a Team that have brought several projects from initial Discoveries to full Development situations.
Beginning in the corporate communications field, he has worked with several public and private companies in a wide variety of sectors including mining, high-tech and the biotech industries. Mr. Watters helped create the corporate identities for several small start-ups as well as heading up their corporate communications departments. Mr. Watters is currently Business Development for East Africa Metals Inc. as well as serving as Director several to other Public Companies. He has been the President of his own private investment vehicle, Talisman Venture Partners since 1999.
Todd Violette is an expert in strategic development of emerging companies and was an active member of the Board of Directors of a NASDAQ Listed Bioscience company based in Israel and CFO of a private Pharma Extraction Company based in Madisonville, Kentucky. He has spent years researching and talking to management teams about effective strategies regarding capital formations and achieving cash flow. Todd’s unique view comes from a combination of being an investor and operating businesses. He has previously operated an 85,000 sq. ft. facility with over 150 staff members handling orders for Nike, and a subcontractor to a NFL and NBA licensor which required drop shipping to over 5,500 locations. Mr. Violette, since graduating University in 1992, has been in the financial industry working for banks, broker dealers and being an independent investor with his own capital. Mr. Violette graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 1992 and is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity
